Black Walnut Inn is, without question, one of my personal favorite Oregon Wedding Venues. It sits perched above rows of Pinot Noir in the Dundee Hills, and it truly a hidden gem. The outdoor patio has stunning views of the vineyards and is the perfect spot for your ceremony. For cocktail hour, guests can spread out in the courtyard. Additionally, your guests can stay on the property making it perfect for a wedding weekend or destination wedding. The golden-hour light here in summer is some of the most beautiful I’ve photographed anywhere in the Willamette Valley. Plus, the Italian-style architecture really gives you the feeling that you are having a destination wedding. If you are a foodie like me, this venue is a standout. The on-site culinary team builds a fully custom menu around fresh, seasonal ingredients, then pairs it with wine made from grapes grown right on the property. It’s really more of a full wedding experience than just an Oregon wedding venue.

Just under an hour from Portland, The Farm on Golden Hill offers some of the most spacious outdoor space on this list of Oregon Wedding Venues. Additionally, The Farm On Golden Hill offers more flexibility for your rental timeline than some other venues allow. The three-day rental window includes setup and teardown time, too, which makes the whole weekend feel unhurried. That unrushed pace always shows up in the photos, since you aren’t racing the clock to get everything set up before your ceremony.

3. Sweet Cheeks Winery — Eugene, OR — An Oregon Wedding Venue that feels like Napa Valley

Sweet Cheeks sits in the Southern Willamette Valley, and is the perfect option for an Oregon Wedding Venues close to the Eugene airport. Not to mention it is only about 25 minutes from downtown Eugene, and it’s built for outdoor celebration. A large cobblestone patio opens directly onto rolling hillside vineyard views, with room for up to 200 guests in the warmer months. Sweet Cheeks has one of the BEST Golden Hour and Blue hour backdrops in the valley. Like Black Walnut Inn, this is another strong pick for foodie couples. 4. HappiMiss Lavender Garden — Salem, OR — a French Chateau Inspired Oregon Wedding Venue

HappiMiss is one of the newest and most distinctive outdoor venues in the Willamette Valley and another personal favorite of mine. It centers around a heart-shaped lavender garden on a private 100-acre family estate with beautiful mountain views. Wild grass fields and a covered patio round out the ceremony and reception options. Lavender blooms peak in early-to-mid summer, so this venue is a rare find for couples who want real, blooming lavender in their photos instead of styled arrangements. The French country–style main house adds a romantic, slightly old-world backdrop for getting-ready photos, too, before you even step outside. The indoor space is perfect for couple portraits as well if there is inclement weather.

5. Chateau de Lis — Oregon City, OR — A European Inspired Venue

Chateau de Lis sits on 133 private acres just outside Portland, with seven acres of landscaped outdoor gardens alone. Couples can choose from multiple outdoor ceremony sites, or it’s new glass arboretum. It’s the most luxury-tier venue on this list. The French-château-style main house and formal gardens give it a distinct, slightly European character, but the best part is the large amount of space that can be used for summer weddings. The landscaping is thoughtfully done and perfect for all parts of your wedding day photos.
